Never Would've Made It - Wednesday Worship

It’s Wednesday today and time to worship the Lord!

Worship is to reverently honor and give homage to God.

It is an adoring reverence that dedicate to God.

Worship is giving God the best that He has given you.

And we should be careful what we do with the best we have.

Whenever we get a blessing from God, we should give it back to Him as a love-gift.

Take time to meditate and pray before God and offer the blessing back to Him in a deliberate act of worship.

How can we be thankful in all things?

The Bible tells us that we must first be a child of God.

Then, we will receive the Holy Spirit, who will enable us to:

Become more like Christ.

Do the work God wants us to do.

Express gratitude when we feel that we cannot.

Our thankfulness allows us to rise above our problems and to place our focus upon God.
When we thank Him and rejoice in Him, we will be energized by His glory.
Giving thanks is the will of God.

What can you thank Him for right now?

This is post is part of Wednesday Worship series.

  1. Giving our best to Him, so easy to forget in the bustle of the day, but so important if we're to learn to put Him first in our lives in a very practical way.
This was a beautiful reminder, Joanna, thank you so much. May God bless you bigger than big!

  2. Worshiping is somehow difficult for me. I think its because I dont go to Chuch every week. Thank you Joanna for this important writing that reminds me to worship even when I dont feel like it. Sometimes I have worshipped the Lord by myself with worshiping music playing on the background.

    1. Worship is born from the heart, no matter if we are in church, with other people, or by ourselves at home or even at work. I think the important thing would be to ask God to give you something to worship Him for, and to show you the good things that He has already given. All the reasons that you have to worship Him.
