Wordless Wednesday

This is a picture of Antisana. A volcano in Ecuador.

I took the picture driving from Quito, Ecuador's capital, to the Amazon area where my home is.

The road climbs up to 4000 meters.

According to Google 4000 meters = 13 123.3596 feet (13 123 feet 4516 inches).

High up in the paramo, as it's called in Ecuador, the air is scant but the views spectacular.

I hope you enjoy the pic and the quote.

    1. It is amazing and breathtaking. A lot of time during the year there is cloud cover but when there are no clouds I just have to stop and stand there, looking.
